1. Spring 2022 Employment Seminar for International Students and Scholars

Friday, February 11, 2022

Ball Room, Student Center South, 2^nd Floor, and Virtual

Please mark your calendar to come either in person or join the seminar virtually.

This seminar will provide you with information regarding employment options and procedures for F-1 and J-1 visa holders. UH Career Counselors will join us to prepare you with better resume writing and interview skills. An immigration attorney will present information on work visa and immigrant visa options.

2. Spring 2022 Financial Workshop for International Students

Friday, February 25, 2022
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Ball Room, Student Center South, 2^nd Floor, and Virtual

Please mark your calendar to come either in person or join the workshop virtually.

This workshop will connect you with financial aid opportunities available to international students. You will also learn tips for success in applying for scholarships and information on accessing bank services.

3. An opportunity for International Students to join the Mentorship Program

Mentor: For those who are acquainted with the resources our campus has to offer, and for those who are already situated in the UH community, we encourage you to apply to be a Mentor. The lived-experience and advice one international student can pass on to another are invaluable to our program.

Mentee: We welcome international students of all classifications to sign-up to be a mentee. We encourage those who are looking to get more involved in campus life, join organizations, or who would like support navigating classes and other activities to sign-up as a mentee.

4. Another exciting opportunity for you to get involved with on-campus activities and showcase your beautiful cultural wear

UH Council for Cultural Activities (CCA) is having its newest signature event, Cultural Catwalk on March 2^nd at 6:30 pm. Right now, CCA is working on recruiting models that would like to showcase any cultural wear.
