Undergraduate Programs


The RN to BSN program is offered at the University of Houston at Sugar Land, University of Houston main campus, and online. This program is specifically for working registered nurses who have completed their associate degree and subsequent RN licensure to advance their professional qualifications while continuing to live and work within the Sugar Land and greater Houston communities.

Second Degree BSN

This program is offered at the UH Sugar Land campus in Sugar Land, Texas, near Houston. The Second Degree bachelors program is a twelve-month, intensive, full-time program for people holding bachelor's or master's degrees in other fields who want to become registered nurses (RNs). This accelerated program is designed to facilitate a career change for the more mature and experienced student. The next admission to this fast track BSN program is Spring 2019.

Traditional BSN

The Traditional BSN Track is designed for degree-seeking first time in college freshmen who want to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and become eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The freshman and sophomore years will be at the University of Houston. After gaining admission in the nursing program, the junior and senior years will be taught at the University of Houston Katy location.
