Since joining the department in 2004, Dr. Zheng has founded the wireless system research lab (http://wireless.cs.uh.edu) and built a research team attacking problems of both theoretical and practical impacts in the networking field.  Her work results in over 50 conference and journal publications. Dr. Zheng is well recognized nation wide. She served on the organization and technical program committees of many top network conferences.  She is the recipient of the prestigious National Science Foundation Career award in 2006.
