Profile

Salinas' work with the UH Center for Immigration Research and the UH Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Houston has resulted in publications on religion and family. He is a demographer specializing on racial and ethnic issues, in particular those issues that are of influence to the Latino Family. Salinas can speak to media on wide a wide range of social issues and events -- from the social effects of national tragedies to the tone of political campaigns. Salinas is available for interviews in English and Spanish.
