BY UHS AT SUGAR LAND
Information about the New RN to BSN Degree Program Available
HOUSTON, Sept. 27, 2005 – Nursing, business, education and
other degree programs will be featured during the University of
Houston System at Sugar Land’s open house and advising day
Oct. 7.
The latest UHSSL degree offering is its new nursing program. Anyone
holding a registered nurse’s degree from an accredited college
or university can now earn a bachelor of science degree in nursing
at the Sugar Land campus. Information about the curriculum will
be available during the open house.
Advisers and faculty members will be available to answer questions
about degree programs from 9 a.m. until noon. Those attending the
open house are encouraged to bring copies of previous college transcripts
to review with advisers.
The UH System at Sugar Land, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary,
offers junior and senior courses which lead to bachelor’s
degrees in such areas as business, education, psychology, computer
information systems and biology. Graduate courses for master’s
degrees are available in educational administration, counseling,
non-profit leadership and business. For a complete listing of degrees,

Anyone interested in continuing or finishing a bachelor’s
or master’s degree is encouraged to attend the event. For
