ETHICS PROBE: BUSINESS STUDENTS AT UH
TACKLE CORPORATE DILEMMAS
Third Annual Leadership, Ethics Week Features Case Studies, Lectures,
Roundtables
HOUSTON, Nov. 1, 2004 – In the past, a business education
taught students how to get the most bang out of your buck and the
bottom line. Now, in an era marked by corporate scandals, the University
of Houston’s Bauer College of business has added leadership
and ethics to the syllabus.
From Nov. 1-5, the Bauer College will host the third annual Leadership
and Ethics Week. More than six thousand business students have been
invited to participate.
“The Changing Face of Leadership” will feature keynote
lectures, an ethics challenge, roundtables on leadership topics
and a team-building workshop for select high school students.
During the closing luncheon and ceremony, outstanding Bauer College
student organizations, student leaders, faculty and staff will be
honored with the 2004 Excellence in Leadership Awards.
