Houston Parks & Rec Tree Planting

The Houston Parks and Recreation Department, is one of seventy-nine other accredited national departments recognized throughout the U.S., and tasked with providing and maintaining parks throughout the metropolitan area. With over 380 developed parks, 167 greenspaces, and 39,000 acres.
For this event, volunteers are requested by the Houston Parks & Recreation Department to help out with their annual tree planting! Volunteers can expect a day out in the park, planting saplings and other larger trees, in parks maintained by the Houston Parks & Recreation department.
