Houston Arboretum
Wednesday, September 18, 2019
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
As one of the oldest nature education facilities in Texas (founded 1967), the Arboretum is dedicated to our mission: “to provide education about the natural environment to people of all ages and to protect and enhance the Arboretum as a haven and as a sanctuary for native plants and animals.”
Volunteers for this event may expect a variety of activities depending on the needs of the Organization, and the weather on the day of the event. A few examples that volunteers may expect include Invasive Species removal, Beautifying the gardens, or planting and seeding.
