The Beacon

MVP is volunteering at The Beacon, which is a non-profit organization that serves the Houston homeless community through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling and mentoring and access to housing. As volunteers we will be helping greet guests, lunch preparation and serving, and assisting with laundry.
Volunteers will meet at the Student Center information desk at 9:25 and will carpool to the site at 9:40 AM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! We will then volunteer from 10:00AM - 1:00pm. After the event, volunteers will return to campus at 1:15 PM.
