Tour de Hood Bike Ride

Wednesday, October 16, 2024

12:00 am - 12:00 am

Tour De Hood is a non-profit organization that is geared toward getting people the practical information they need to be both mentally and physically healthy. It started in 2003 with Dr. Veon McReynolds, riding with friends and family around the neighborhood. It has evolved to a tradition where people of all fitness levels, ages, and family sizes come together to ride around Houston to view the history and beauty that most people don’t notice.

Volunteers for this event will help to keep the Third Ward active and healthy by enjoying riding bikes with Dr. Veon and learning more about what makes the Third Ward have so much history and personality.

We will have a cap of 15 volunteers! So this will be a first come first serve volunteering event.

You’ll receive a confirmation and reminder email prior to the event containing more information! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Erick Martinez at mvphw@central.uh.edu.
