Houston Children’s Charity Closet Warehouse

Tuesday, November 12, 2024

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Houston Children’s Charity (HCC) is a nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas, dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged children and their families in the Houston area. The charity focuses on a range of programs and services designed to address the needs of children facing various challenges, including those related to health, education, and basic necessities.

HCC Closet has provided gently-used and new clothing, shoes, and accessories to more than 35,000 children and 12,000 families. This program was designed to provide a positive experience for parents to shop with their children and for themselves at the same time. At absolutely no cost to these parents, children are allowed to have fun and choose as they wish. Volunteers will help organize, distribute clothes, and help shoppers find clothing!

Please indicate on this sign-up form if you can provide carpool - we always need volunteer drivers! All volunteer drivers will receive one extra volunteer hour for their generosity. If you need a ride we will meet at the student center around 8:20am and expect to be back on campus by 1:30pm.

You’ll receive a confirmation and reminder email prior to the event containing more information! Please confirm once again via the sent confirmation email to ensure your spot, as there are limited volunteering positions. Primary point of contact will be GroupMe and/or text-message group chat.
