Hermann Park Conservancy Volunteering

The Hermann Park Conservancy Volunteering is an event aimed at maintaining one of Houston’s most iconic and popular parks. The garden has a wide variety of flora and flowers and even has a community garden to grow produce for the Houston Community. Hermann Park holds numerous events and has lots of works for volunteers to do
We will be doing general garden maintenance such as planting and weeding which requires closed toed shoes. Volunteers should be ready to get a bit messy due to the gardening. Also volunteers should bring a cap and a bottle of water due to the Houston weather which will inevitably be hot that day.
Volunteers will meet at SC South at 11:30 AM and depart at 11:40 AM and arrive at the event site at 12:00 PM , and volunteer until 3:00 PM. Please indicate on the sign up form if you can provide carpool- we always need volunteer drivers! After the event, volunteers will return to campus and be back by 3:20 PM.
