Moores School Symphony Orchestra

This live in-person and virtually live-streamed performance by the Moores School Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Director of Orchestras, Franz Anton Krager. This orchestra concert will include the Overture in C Major, Op 101 by Felix Mendelssohn, and the Symphony No 1 in B-Flat Major “Spring” Op 38 by Robert Schumann. The performance will take place in the Moores Opera House, and begin at 7:30pm on Friday, November 20, 2020. Both works will be played in their entirety, with no intermission. This evening of symphonic music will be an enjoyable one as both works are written by well-known composers, and are played the world over.
Please be aware that all patrons will be required to wear face masks and maintain proper social distancing while attending live events at the University of Houston. Live events will be performed without intermission and seating will be assigned by ushers upon arrival to ensure proper social distancing between parties during the performance. Extra cleaning and sanitization measures have been implemented at the venue. Additionally, the Box Office will not be open at the venue for walk-up ticket registration. All ticket registration must be completed online in advance.
The performance will also be live-streamed for our patrons and supporters who prefer to enjoy the concert from the comfort and safety of their home.

Event Parking is a $10 flat rate payable by cash or card and is located in Lot 16B across the street from the Moores Opera House.
