Convergence Research: “Harmony of Nature” featuring Angela Lai

Wednesday, September 27, 2023

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for the first Convergence Research performance of the semester, “Harmony of Nature,” with flutist Wen-Hsiu Angela Lai. Angela, a doctorial student of Musical Art in Moores School of Music, was recently named a finalist alternative in the 2022 National Flute Association Young Artist Competition and was awarded the grand prize in the University of Houston Concerto Competition—among numerous other accolades!

Her music will take you on a meditative journey and leave you with a greater appreciation for nature as you experience the interconnectedness of all things.
Angela will take the stage amid Tania Candiani’s “Lifeblood” exhibition. Immerse yourself in the captivating fusion of Tania Candiani’s artwork and Angela’s melodies, where past and present harmonize in a symphony of art and sound.

Convergence Research is curated by graduate assistant Ji Won Chun.
