Dear University of Houston Community,

Autumn is officially here, and the season marks a special time at the University of Houston.

After all, we’re at the midpoint of the semester. Homecoming will soon be upon us, midterms are around the corner, and our campus continues to host countless events and activities displaying academic excellence and University pride.

I hope you take advantage of the many opportunities to celebrate our institution, as well as those focused on your academic and professional growth.

Whether you’re a student, professor or staff member, fall no doubt has special meaning. Take a moment to enjoy the season and make the most of your time working and learning at this outstanding University.

And I do mean outstanding!

The items in this newsletter are evidence that UH is truly a special place. They also demonstrate your hard work on our campus.

In this month’s edition, we showcase the many Cougar leaders who are working hard to elevate UH, as well as recent accomplishments across our colleges.
