Bring your child to work on June 7

The third annual Take Your Child to Work Day at UH will be held June 7, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. This year, seven colleges and departments will be hosting children and their parents for programs in the morning. After the programs, children will have the option to eat lunch at Moody Dining Commons and go to their parents' workplace.  Space in each area is limited. For additional information, visit the Take Your Child To Work Day website

Benefit from WW at Work experience

Wellness doesn’t stop at the office and neither do the benefits of living a healthy, active life.  That’s why it’s important to develop doable strategies that are flexible and effective in helping you reach your wellness goals.  WW’s SmartPoints system is a science-backed and simple-to-use method to manage your weight while still enjoying the foods you love.

In weekly workshops at work, you’ll get support from others and guidance from a wellness coach who's been there and lost the weight. You’ll also learn ways to make regular exercise a reality and much more! UH on-campus workshops occur each Thursday at 12:15 p.m. in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

Drop by any meeting to learn more and see how WW can help you meet your goals. Questions? Contact Wellness Administrator Court Stein

For the class, wear comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat or towel. Please read and print the participation waiver.  Then, complete it and bring it with you the first time attending the class. Sessions are led by UH’s Dr. Minal Bhadane, a certified yoga instructor.
