The Cougar Card Office needs Volunteers!

The Cougar Card Office is looking for staff volunteers to help distribute Cougar Cards and educate customers on the functionality of their card during Housing Move-In week and the first week of the Fall 2021 semester. The deadline to sign-up to volunteer is August 6.

Farewell and Thank You:
A Message from Outgoing President, Shanequea White

As President of the University of Houston Staff Council for the past year, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the officers, members, and friends of the UH Staff Council. With my term ending on August 31, 2021, I have reflected on everything we have accomplished together in this last year despite the many challenges we faced.

Serving as President has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have truly enjoyed getting to know so many of you and working together to improve the staff experience at UH. I believe our efforts this past year have begun to lay a foundation upon which a great union will continue to be built in years to come. I am confident that the UH Staff Council will continue to advocate on behalf of all staff through advocacy, support, inclusivity, and equity.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve an esteemed governing body that will grow and prosper with your continued participation.
As always, the UH Staff Council S.T.A.N.D.S. for YOU!

In Solidarity,
Shanequea N. White
President, UH Staff Council (FY21)
