Honors College students often study away or abroad during their college careers. Each year, the Honors College plans one or more trips during the winter, spring and summer breaks. In recent summers, Honors students traveled to Jordan, Israel, Italy and the Galápagos. In addition to the trips planned by the College, professors and programs within the College often plan trips, such as the annual spring break trip taken by the students in the Artists & Their Regions course (part of the Creative Work minor).
Many students also apply for scholarships—both from the University and other organizations—that support them in learning away and abroad. Some of these scholarships and fellowships may be found via the Office of Global Engagement & Special Programs, the Office of Learning Abroad or the Office of Undergraduate Research.
