The Honors College Office of Communication received two, 2018 American Inhouse Design Awards for the Shine & Rise annual report and the newly designed Honors College admissions packet by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). More than 5,000 entries were received for this year’s 55th annual competition. It is a rare case to have an organization receive multiple awards, according to GDUSA.
The Honors College admissions packet was also submitted by UH Printing Services to the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast (PIGC) 2018 Excellence Awards, where it received the Division I Silver Award.
GDUSA is a business-to-business information source for graphic design professionals, covering news, people, project, trends, technology, products, and services. PIGC is an affiliate of Printing Industries of America. PIGC annually recognizes the best in technology, and craftsmanship from the region’s printing, imaging, finishing, and creative community, which it services.
