Like many of you, our staff is experiencing a range of emotions related to the recent violent incidents happening across the country. Because we are all connected, when we see violence against others and the subsequent pain and grief that can follow, it is hard to not feel affected in similar ways. The University is committed to serving you and our diverse campus community and we care deeply about your emotional and physical safety and well-being. We have a support system and resources in place so that you don’t have to feel alone, no matter your struggle. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will be holding space to collectively listen, share, and process what is on your hearts and minds. If desired, please join us in the SC South Ballroom West Feb. 2nd from 3 pm to 4:30 pm.
