Hilton College-San Antonio Program Information
No, there is ONE application for both the Hilton College-San Antonio and Houston locations. You can apply at ApplyTexas.org. At the bottom of the application, be sure to select option “yes” to confirm your interest in this program.
Every student is different. The amount of time students spend in this program will depend on how many classes taken per semester and transferrable credits. Typically, students complete the degree in four years or less.
We traditionally welcome incoming students for the spring or fall semesters; however, if you are eager to begin your journey at Hilton College, online course options may be available for Summer session. For more information, email UHHiltonSA@uh.edu.
Current UH students must have 15 credit hours (from UH and previous college credits combined) and have a GPA of 2.85 or higher. For more information, please see our admissions requirements.

Since January 2014, Texas state law (SB 62) mandates that all entering students under the age of 22 provide either a certificate signed by a health care provider or an official immunization record verifying that a student has been vaccinated against bacterial meningitis, or has received a booster during the five years prior to registration. Students may also submit proof of approved conscience exemption from the Texas Department of State Health Services. Proof of vaccination is not required to be considered for admission. The earlier you submit all of your application materials, the earlier you will receive an admissions decision. The application timeline is as follows:
- 1 to 2 business days from submission for the College to receive an application submitted online
- 3 to 4 business days from submission to receive payment submitted in the online application
- 2 weeks once requested to receive official test scores
- 2 to 3 weeks – but during peak periods it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks – for the evaluation of official international transcripts
- 4 weeks once your application is complete and has been forwarded for an admissions decision
Yes. To render an admissions decision, the University of Houston will need to receive ALL of your official transcripts from each of the previously attended institutions you list on your application.

Our Bachelor of Science degree requires 9 credit hours of math. This includes 6 hours of CORE approved MATH plus 3 hours of Statistics. Please refer to the transfer guide, or email UHHiltonAS@uh.edu for more information.
Yes. Any course the University of Houston offers online is available to San Antonio students. Please speak with your academic advisor in advance of enrolling in these classes to determine if distance learning is right for you.
Yes. We offer an evening course per semester.
University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management (in Houston) currently provides several graduate degrees, as well as a doctoral program in Hospitality Administration. Absolutely! Hilton College offers nearly $1 million in both college and university merit-based scholarships annually. This means scholarships are granted based on academic achievement, student leadership, participation in student organizations, honors and awards received, work experience, references, accuracy and timeliness in the application process.
