Cougar First Impressions (CFI) is an annual “Welcome to UH” experience sponsored by Staff Council and is held the first two days of each Fall semester. This year’s event will take place on Monday, August 22, 2022, and Tuesday, August 23, 2022, to provide students with a safe and gradual transition to campus.

Flow into your day with fellow Coogs at this 45-minute, beginner level, morning yoga session on the front lawn of the A.D Bruce Religion Center. Bring your own yoga mat our use one of ours!

At Student Centers Welcome Back, students will have the opportunity to discover all the amazing services and spaces here at our Student Centers. They will also enjoy food, games, giveaways, and entertainment.

International Student and Scholar Services Office (ISSSO) will be handing out ice cream and sharing their resources and programming opportunities with students, faculty, and staff!

Whether you’re a freshman, transfer student, or ortherwise new to UH – come enjoy some snacks and giveaways sponsored by Coogs for Christ and The Point at UH campus ministry.

“Let’s Talk” is a program that provides easy access to informal confidential consultations with therapists from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Consultations are available to the entire UH community – students, staff, and faculty. Consultations are free of charge, and no appointment or paperwork is needed.

Join the Center for Diversity and Inclusion for a first-generation college student mixer, and meet other students who are the first to attend college in their family!

Cougar Con is the first ever convention at UH featuring anime, cosplay, board game and video game stations, and various student vendors! Don’t miss out on FREE food and an e-sports tournament hosted by Coog Esports - the UH gaming student organization. Info on signing up for the tournament coming soon!
