“Let’s Talk” is a program that provides easy access to informal confidential consultations with therapists from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Consultations are available to the entire UH community – students, staff, and faculty. Consultations are free of charge, and no appointment or paperwork is needed.
This “open house” event lets you travel across campus and visit dozens of departments and colleges while collecting freebies along the way! Learn about all their upcoming events, services, and ways you can get involved. The more stops you visit, the more giveaways you can get! We’re giving away t-shirts, gas gift cards, and a Nintendo Switch!
Come and treat yourself. Our ice cream social gives students an opportunity to meet the LGBTQ Resource Center staff, student organization leaders, fellow Coogs, and campus representatives in a casual environment with ice cream, games, great prizes, and more!

It’s time to Rock the Rec at RECFEST 2022! Don’t miss out on this afternoon party filled with music by DJMIK3! Compete with friends for prizes in our 3v3 basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and spikeball tournaments! Inflatable activities such as obstacle courses, archery tag and soccer darts will be out on the lawn for everyone to enjoy! Food, t-shirts, and giveaways (while supplies last) for event attendees! The University of Houston women’s soccer team will be kicking off their season against BIG12 opponent and in-state rival Baylor at 7 PM on September 1st. This match will be the first athletic event of the school year. Cooling towels and misting fans will be given away to those in attendance, while supplies last. Students will be able to claim two tickets for this match and every match this upcoming season.
