Share, Fight, Care: The Story of Houston Food Not Bombs

Food Not Bombs is about a group of passionate volunteers who provide homemade meals to Houston's needy people four nights a week. These volunteers cook vegan meals in their homes and then meet up in front of the downtown library to serve what they made to anyone who wants to have a meal. The organization is open to anyone and aims to create a sense of community and dignity while "sharing" food. Rain or shine, Food Not Bombs is out there on the pavement, providing a model of a different way of doing things: helping and caring about others, simply because it's the right thing to do.
