CITE Lab
The CITE computer lab on the 3rd floor of Farish Hall is a state-of-the-art technology center specifically designed to cater to the needs of Teacher Education candidates. Because so much of the work you will do, from coursework to creating your electronic portfolio, requires access to modern technology and Internet resources, the lab maintains generous availability. Lab staff familiar with your course and portfolio requirements will be available to assist you. In addition, the CITE lab maintains TExES exam review software for your use in preparing for the required exams. For more information, including equipment checkout, video tutorials, resources, and hours of operation, main campus students should see the CITE Lab website and Sugar Land students can see http://www.sugarland.uh.edu/computing/.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for Teacher Education students through the College of Education. More information including application deadlines can be found at http://www.coe.uh.edu/current-students/fin_aid_scholarships/.
