College of Education Celebrates Scholarship Recipients

The College of Education offers a variety of scholarships to students ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels. Each year the number of exceptional students applying for scholarships increases and so does the level of competiveness.  On November 5th, the college will recognize the scholarship recipients at the 2015 Star Awards event.

“The College of Education scholarships are a way to award the excellence of our outstanding students,” said Dean Robert McPherson. “Through these scholarships our students are able to pursue their dreams to serve the Houston and global community.”

“It is exciting to see these students recognized as many of our College graduate students are currently contributing to research and work in the field of education shaping the future of our communities,” said Jonathan Schwartz, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies.
