Info Session: NAACP Pre-Law Scholars Program

NAACP Student Recruiting Manager, Adria Kimbrough, invites pre-law students and organizations to hear about the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program funded by the NAAPC Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program is designed to create pathways to leadership, self-sufficiency, and socio-economic progress, while developing individuals to become ambassadors and advocates for transformational change in Black communities in the South.

The program provides:

  • full law scholarship for tuition, room, board, an incidentals
  • summer internships to begin training as civil rights lawyers
  • 2-year postgraduate fellowship
  • access to special trainings

In return, the Scholars will commit to serving as civil rights lawyers based in the South, engaged in a law practice focused on achieving racial justice for 8 years following the conclusion of their fellowship.
