Join the University of Houston for the 6th annual UH Summer Assessment Symposium (SAS)! This year’s theme is “Building Your Assessment Toolkit,” and our goal is that you will leave the symposium with some new skills and perspectives to apply to your own assessment projects. We will host multiple breakout sessions focused on assessment in programming, student success, and various functional areas.
If you have special assessment skills, advice on best practices, or an assessment story you’d like to share, we encourage you to submit a proposal. On the right side bar, there is a “Call for Proposals” page with more information and the proposal submission form. Presenters are welcome to submit multiple proposals and the Sessions Committee may accept multiple sessions from the same presenters.
Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2020
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Location: UH Main Campus, Student Center South
Symposium Sessions: to be announced in June. View our Past Symposia pages on the right side bar for information on last year’s sessions.
While this conference is hosted annually by the University of Houston, we welcome participants from a wide variety of colleges and organizations every year. UH SAS focuses primarily on higher education assessment, but the conference welcomes sessions about assessment in all fields.
Registration for the conference opens on April 1, 2020. On that date, a registration link will go live on the right side bar with more information.
