Volunteering
Event
is
a
community
garden
within
the
third
ward
that
aims
to
bring
fresh
produce
and
vegetables
to
the
local
community.
The
garden
was
started
in
order
to
feed
the
elderly
who
were
having
trouble
making
it
to
the
end
of
the
month
on
their
fixed
incomes.
Today,
the
garden
is
an
allotment
garden.
Every
week
the
garden
takes
up
a
collection
of
produce
to
bring
to
SHAPE
community
center
to
feed
the
hungry
in
their
neighborhood.
