Frequently Asked Questions for Travel

In compliance with state and federal health privacy laws, the university will not release names or identifying information of any student or employee unless required to do so by law.
Can/Should international students go to their home country during the time that UH is in an exclusively online instruction mode?
Classes will be offered remotely (online or alternative format) beginning March 23rd through April 4th. During this time we will assess the continuation of remote class instruction. We do not know when UH will resume face-to-face instruction and due to the travel restrictions/bans we are not sure if you would be permitted to return to the United States.
