Laura Mortensen has worked in Knowledge Management (KM) at ExxonMobil since 2009. She has 14 years of experience in KM, with extensive experience in helping the business gain value out of Microsoft SharePoint as a knowledge sharing and collaboration platform. Currently Laura leads the Retention of Critical Knowledge program for ExxonMobil that focuses on transferring and capturing at-risk business critical knowledge and cognitive skills. Previously, Laura was the Knowledge Manager and SharePoint Program Manager for a large global real estate and technology company. Besides KM, Laura has worked in the executive recruiting industry providing research and consulting services to large corporations around the globe. She led search efforts for C-suite and Board member positions for a wide array of companies in including Pfizer, Jack in the Box, Enron, and Aetna to name a few.
