A Festschrift honoring Dr. Donald J. Foss is to be held immediately after The 30th CUNY Conference on Human Sentence Processing scheduled for March 30 to April 1, 2017 at MIT, Cambridge, MA. The theme of the conference is language processing and language evolution. The setting is highly appropriate since much of Dr. Foss's research has studied language comprehension. At the post-conference event, called a Foss Fest, Dr.Foss, who is a Professor in the Department of Psychology, program of Developmental, Cognitive, & Behavioral Neuroscience, will be honored for his lifetime achievements. In addition to his research, writing, and administrative prominence, Dr. Foss is a Fellow of many associations, among them, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), divisions of the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Psychological Society (APS), and the Psychonomic Society.
