Bio

Martina Lüke-Dorn is Lecturer of German. She studied at the University of Hamburg, the University of Osnabrück, the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of Connecticut. She received her first Doctor of Philosophy (Education) from the University of Hamburg and the second Doctor of Philosophy (Comparative Literature) from the University of Connecticut. Her research and publications revolve around German Romanticism; Modernism; Modern History (18th to 21st Century); Philosophies and Theories on War, Military, and Violence; History of Pedagogy; and German Film.
