The Language Commons (LC) is a resource center for the students and faculty in the Department of Hispanic Studies and the Department of Modern and Classical Languages. We provide many tools for the study of world languages, literatures, and cultures, including computer classrooms, audio and visual equipment, and an extensive collection of foreign films.

In the spring of 2016, the LC sponsored a Language Exchange event at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion as a part of Culture Connect Week. Read an article in The Cougar about the Language Exchange.

Room Reservations

Faculty and representatives for language and culture-related student organizations can reserve the Language Commons classrooms by completing the LC Classroom and iPad Cart Reservation form. 213 is a PC lab with video conferencing capability, and 215 is a Mac lab. To find out more about the features of each room, visit the LC Interactive Learning Classroom page.
