Summary: Based on historical facts, anecdotes and testimonies collected during the ten-year war, this is the story of the revolutionary hero Emiliano Zapata. The story begins in 1910 when Zapata was the head administrator of Ignacio de la Torre y Mire, son-in-law of Porfirio Diaz. He falls in love with Rosa Rendon, the beautiful daughter of a landowner, though they both realize that they belong in different worlds.
