HISTORY OF HOUSTON'S AFRICAN-AMERICAN PHYSICIANS
Dr. E. A. Durham was born in Georgia in 1865. He married Miss Sophronia J. Carr in 1885, and graduated from Wiley University 1890. Dr. Durham practiced in several different places before coming to Houston in 1908. He opened a practice at 411 1/2 Travis Street.
