Houston History magazine’s launch and panel discussion features the radio program “Engines of Our Ingenuity,” its creator John Lienhard, history professor and contributor Catherine Patterson, and former producer Paul Pendergraft.

The Unsung Masters Series brings new attention to authors who have been unjustly overlooked or forgotten by history through the publication of an annual volume devoted not just to the work, but to shining light on authors’ lives and contexts.
