Plus 4 interactive speakers:
- Dr. De La Cruz: He is a psychiatric clinical pharmacist who works as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and at the Michael E.DeBakey VA Medical Center. He will be speaking about the important role pharmacists play in managing medication therapy for mental disorders.
- Dr. Caryn Honig: Dr. Caryn Honig is a Registered and Licensed Dietician and owns The Healthy Weigh, a private practice offering nutritional counseling for patients who struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating. She is also an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Houston.
- Dr. Ned Strauss: Dr. Ned Strauss holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and he represents the AFSP, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Association. He will be providing teaches about suicide prevention, red flags, and how we can all help prevent suicide by starting a meaningful conversation.
- Maranda Evans: Maranda Evans is an accountant, author, motivational speaker. She speaks on topics including mental illness. She is also the founder of the non-profit organization called, The Troubled Movement Inc. This movement supports victims of abuse and mental illness. She is also a member of the RAINN, Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) Speakers Bureau, where she shares her story of sexual abuse and violence, and how she overcame.
