A Tale of Four Minorities film screening
Monday, February 5, 2024
6:00 pm -
Director David Deri (The Ancestral Sin, Say Amen) will show his new documentary film, A Tale of Four Minorities. The film, set during the global pandemic, follows four Israeli families: Deri’s own secular gay family in Tel Aviv, an ultra-Orthodox family in Beit Shemesh, an Arab family in Taibeh, and a religious-nationalist settler family in Ofra, in the West Bank. Exacerbated by the COVID crisis, the families struggle with their identities and place in Israeli society. A Q-and-A with Deri will follow the screening.
