Intimate confession is a project is a group exhibition that considers transmission, intergenerational life, and cultural inheritance through the prism of intimacy and infrastructure. Through the work of eleven artists spanning generations and geographies, the exhibition thinks through infrastructure as an intimate holding cell, capable of affective and affirmative power.

The Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston is proud to present the first solo museum exhibition in the United States of Cuban conceptual artist Reynier Leyva Novo.

The UH Research Forum keeps you connected to leadership and staff in the Division of Research and across campus, to the ongoing implementation of our research strategy and to operational updates.
Jeffrey Church, Chair of the University of Houston’s Political Science Department, will present a talk entitled “Fichte on the Civic Duty to Work.” Drawing on the work of the German philosopher J.G. Fichte, Dr. Church will argue that we should conceive of work as a civic duty.
The Moores School of Music is proud to host the Formosa Quartet, who will be presenting a cello masterclass as a part of their residency at the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts.
The masterclass will feature the following repertoire:
Brahms: Cello Sonata No. 1 in E Minor, Op. 38
Bloch: Schelomo
Prokofiev: Cello Sonata in C Major, Op. 119
Cassadó: Suite for Solo Cello
