The UH School of Art and Blaffer Art Museum present the 40th Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition. The annual thesis exhibition is the culmination of the School of Art’s three-year M.F.A. in studio art program. This year, each of the School’s five studio programs, graphic design, interdisciplinary practices and emerging forms, painting, photography/digital media and sculpture, will be represented by 11 outstanding M.F.A. candidates: Charis Ammon, Heather Bisesti, Alton DuLaney, Isaac Farley, Gao Hang, Jesus Gonzalez, Jordan McGroary, Suzette Mouchaty, Hibah Osman, Jonathan Read and Donald Villemez.
The M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition opens with a ticketed preview Thursday, April 5, at 6 p.m. Then on Friday, April 6, a free opening will take place from 6 – 9 p.m. The exhibition will be on view at the Blaffer Art Museum through Saturday, April 21.
