Kid Simple by Jordan Harrison

Saturday, November 7, 2020

8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

The UH School of Theatre and Dance is proud to present Kid Simple by Jordan Harrison directed by Adam Noble!

Moll is a teen genius, and an inventor. When she wins the high school science fair by creating a machine that can hear sounds that can’t be heard, a shapeshifting Mercenary steals her invention… and her heart. Moll must embark on a quest to confront her duplicitous ex, and save sound as we know it. Accompanied by her friend Oliver, the last boy-virgin in the eleventh grade, the pair cross chasms and raft rivers into a world where sound is more than meets the ear. A quirky fable of innocence and experience, and an adventure in pandemic storytelling.
