Meditation is a practice used to focus one’s mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. It can be used to accomplish a variety of things, including reducing stress, anxiety and depression; assisting with pain management; and increasing peace, perception, self-concept and well-being.
In this session with UH Wellness learn how to focus your attention on your breath, to be present and in the moment with what is happening in your body, mind and the world around us.
