“LITTLE” BIPOC Book Fest
Sunday, April 24, 2022
10:00 am -
Hosted in Houston — the most diverse city in the country — the BIPOC Book Fest aims to showcase books and other literary works that are representative of various races and cultures – just like our city.
The annual BIPOC Book Fest is a two-day festival centered on writers of color and a showcase of literary works that feature Black, Indigenous, People of Color and members of other marginalized communities. Curated by notable writers and readers of color, the festival combines the nostalgia of book fairs we knew and loved as students with unique programming, artist talks, readings vendors, book-related memorabilia, must reads from all genres and more!
The event will be the first of its kind in Houston to focus solely on Black, Indigenous and other communities of color, with a literary component.
