MLK Day of Service

Join the members of the UH community – incoming students, returning students, faculty, and staff- for a day of service with our campus and community partners working to address social issues facing Houston. Sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement.

Transportation, lunch, a t-shirt, and all materials required for service projects will be provided for all volunteers. Participants will be assigned to service projects at check in for the event. If you wish to volunteer at the same service site with your team, organization, or friends, plan to check in together so we can make every effort to accommodate this request. There will be a wide range of projects available including gardening, painting, and neighborhood cleanups.

Please note that all participants are required to use the transportation provided. Buses will depart at approximately 12:30 pm and return around 4 pm, depending on your service site. Register here!
