The Mitchell Center and School of Theatre & Dance present Ocean Filibuster by Lisa D’Amour and PEARLDAMOUR.
The performance will put audiences in the middle of an epic human/ocean showdown between Senate leader Mr. Majority and the Ocean itself. Ocean Filibuster fuses myth, song, stand-up, and science to explore the vast depths crucial to our daily survival. Commissioned and developed by the American Repertory Theater with support from the Harvard University Center for the Environment, School of Theatre & Dance will host the first leg of a national tour, with University of Houston students playing the chorus.
