Community Day with Space Explorers

9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Six accomplished space explorers will visit UH students to educate and inspire the next generation of astronauts, scientists and engineers. Delegates include NASA astronauts Clay Anderson and Mary Ellen Weber; Russian Space Agency cosmonauts Alexander Alexandrov and Sergei Krikalev; Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Chiaki Mukai; and Claude Nicollier, retired European Space Agency astronaut. They will speak to students and faculty at the Cullen College of Engineering, Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture (SICSA), College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, College of Technology, College of Education and UH Charter School. The ASE flyers will also participate in a panel discussion at 1 p.m. in Student Center South.
