Student Centers Film Series Presents: Selena
Wednesday, October 23, 2019
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Student Centers is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a homage to the queen of Tejano Music, Selena. Selena depicts the story of a Mexican- American young woman who had a dream of becoming the first female singer to cross over from Spanish to the English music market. She accomplished more than that, becoming the most known artist to this day. Her legacy still continues and inspires many of the young generation. Join us for a screening and conversation of the film with the Hispanic Studies Department.
