Talking Color

Public Art of the University of Houston System and program chair Judy Nyquist, along with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, will be hosting the public event “Talking Color: Celebrating Carlos Cruz-Diez in Houston.” Following an introduction by Lea Weingarten, Consulting Director, Carlitos Cruz-Diez will discuss his father’s work with Mari Carmen Ramírez, Wortham Curator of Latin American Art and Director of the International Center for the Arts of the Americas at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. “Talking Color” launches a series of exhibitions, conservation efforts and new artwork from the artist across Houston.
