The Fiscal Year 2022 Mandatory Training period will begin on Monday, October 4, 2021, and run until Friday, November 19, 2021. Per SAM policy 02.A.26, it is the responsibility of each System employee to complete annual mandatory training. This includes full and part-time faculty and staff, student workers, and temporary employees paid through the University’s payroll system.

UH Wellness is launching an active bystander intervention program for students called Step UP! This evidence-based program educates students to effectively and safely intervene in instances of potential harm.
This seminar will provide you with information regarding employment options and procedures for F-1 and J-1 visa holders. UH Career Counselors will join us in preparing you with better resume writing and interview skills. An immigration attorney will present information on a work visa and immigrant visa options. This event can also be joined virtually by registering for our webinar.
MVP is organizing a mask making event for our partner organization, SEARCH, which helps individuals who are homeless move into housing through a variety of programs and initiatives. We will be teaching volunteers how to make masks by hand to be donated. This will be a very insightful event on how to make masks at home, and a chance to make a hand-crafted donation to folks in need.
